This handmade soap bar with olive oil and argan oil is formulated to provide gentle and effective cleansing while respecting the skin’s natural barrier. Made using traditional methods, this soap combines natural ingredients that moisturize, nourish, and protect, making it suitable for daily use on the face and body.

The Argan tree (Argania spinosa) belongs to the Sapotaceae family and grows exclusively in the southwestern regions of Morocco. Its fruit is used to extract valuable argan oil, known for centuries for its extraordinary cosmetic and dermatological properties.

Argan oil is composed of up to 95% triglycerides, whose main fatty acids are oleic acid and linoleic acid, along with omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids. These components help to re-lipidize the skin, restoring and preserving its barrier function. As a result, skin hydration is significantly improved, as natural water loss is prevented.

To a lesser extent, argan oil contains polyphenols, such as ferulic acid, and tocopherols (vitamin E). These antioxidants help improve skin elasticity by promoting the synthesis of collagen and elastic fibers, resulting in firmer, smoother skin that is protected against premature aging.

All these active ingredients give argan oil anti-inflammatory, regenerative, and healing properties, helping to reduce scars, wrinkles, and skin blemishes. Unlike rosehip oil, argan oil does not clog pores, making it particularly suitable for oily or acne-prone skin, offering excellent results in the recovery of residual blemishes.
