Today at Herbalinea, we want to talk about the Root Chakra, also known as Muladhara, the first chakra and the energetic foundation upon which all our physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being rests.
It is the chakra that connects us to the earth, to our bodies, and to a deep sense of security and stability.
The Root Chakra is located at the base of the spine and is associated with the color red, a symbol of vital force, survival, and grounding. When this chakra is balanced, we feel confidence, inner calm, and a sense of being “at home” within our own bodies. It allows us to move forward with confidence, make decisions with tranquility, and face daily challenges without constant fear.
When it is blocked or weakened, emotions such as fear, insecurity, anxiety, financial stress, or disconnection from the present moment can arise. On a physical level, it is related to the legs, feet, bones, spine, and immune system. Therefore, working on this chakra is essential: it is the root that supports all the others.
